| Backland Communications Launches It’s Community Outreach Program | |

| Backland Communications announced today the launching of its Community Outreach Program. The program has been designed to provide effective Internet solutions for non–profit organizations based in Simcoe County, at minimal or no cost to the organization. Backland Communications has designed the program with the understanding that the Internet can be an effective way to help organizations generate interest in events, and communicate with sponsors, volunteers and the community. | |
| The program has already generated interest from numerous non–profit organizations. Current members of the Community Outreach Program include organizations such as the Barrie Minor Baseball Association. Brian Backland, the CEO of Backland Communications, has this to say “There are many non-profit organizations who could use the Internet as an effective way to market themselves, but many of them can not afford the services required to do this. ”Backland also states, “While we may not be able to help every organization, it is our full intention to help who we can, when we can, and to do our part to help our community grow.” Due to potential demand, there is a limited amount of space available in the Community Outreach Program. Eligibility for the Community Outreach Program is determined by the organization’s need for Internet service, the number of applicants for the program, and the location of the organization, organizations based in Simcoe County, and focused on Simcoe County, may be given priority.
